Martin Bland A.K.A "The Smiler" Profile.

Martin is the current bass player with The Alligators.

Martin started with the heavy rock group Speed at the age of 14. He then joined Lucas Tyson, followed by Charity Jones (with "the Dod" on drums). He later joined Beckett, whose line-up included Paul Thompson of Roxy Music.

He was then to join The Animals (with Rob on vocals) in the late 90’s, and later joined Eric Bell's Thin Lizzy. Martin joined the Alligators in June 2008 as a replacement bass player for Joss.

He is currently in the band UK Legends, as well as Beckett and also The Alligators.
