Joss Elliott A.K.A “The Man With The Hair” Profile.

Joss joined the Alligators in 1992, although he stood in for Dave Coulson before being offered the full time job as bass player.

He already knew Rob from being in a band with him called "Well Well Well" in the 80’s we were signed with a major label "Arista/BMG".

He played with the Alligators from 1992 until the band split up in 1995, whilst he was playing with the Alligators he also was playing with the Animals 2 from 1993. When the Alligators split up he continued playing and touring with the Animals 2 with Hilton Valentine and John Steel from the original "Animals". for a time after that.

In early 2000 he toured with an Elvis tribute show for a number of years, called "The Elvis collection". Did a promo tour in Sweden with Jimmy Nail.

However in 2006 he rejoined the Alligators for his second stint where he remained until May 2008 when he was replaced by Martin Bland.

He has played with many local bands, and is currently a busy session musician on electric bass and double bass.
He has Recorded an album and played with the folk musician of the year Tom McConville.
One part of an original acoustic duo called "Capote" Also in a band called "Robot Elvis" with the current singer and 10 year front man of "The Stranglers", Baz Warne.
